Rear Passenger door won't lock 2003 Cayenne S

Hi, I have just bought a lovely 2003 Cayenne S and has it checked out as A1... It was a private sale and I didn't think to check if all the doors locked! All the other doors work perfectly but not the rear passenger one. I have tried using the key to lock but still in leaves it open! The car was SORNed for 5 months as previous owner was ill so I do know the battery was left to go flat and it has just had a new one fitted. Any ideas as to how I can fix without spending lots of dough on it? Thanks

I have a similar issue with the driver side rear door. It will not lock at all. There's an manual override near the door latch which is covered by a rubber grommet and you can see if moving that will cause it to lock. It does for mine but for some reason it doesn't stick after unlocking and relocking.
