21 inch rim / tire

Hi all

New to the group. Purchased a 2013 Diesel Cayenne over the holidays. So far so good besides the guy before me put on these bigger rims. Can anyone confirm what rim these are? (attached)

Also, with the bigger rim I have found some Continental DWS for all season tire. Anyone have a review on these on the Cayenne?

Thanks

I might be willing to trade rims or sell if anyone in the market

Thanks All
Shane

Hi Shane,

I have a 2010 Cayenne GTS and it has the 21" rims. It had some Conti Cross Contact tires on there when I got it. I think I'll go with some DSWs when these are worn out. I've read good things about them!

Mine came with a set of Pirelli Scorpion tires too, but I just don't have the heart to put 'em on (I live in Seattle). You'l find a very limited choice of rubber in 21s.

Happy hunting,

Greg

Found some 18 inch rims off of a 2016 cayenne. The package includes rim, rubber, and TPMS. Question now, is will they fit and will my 2013 recognize the TPMS is that tire?

Thanks

Hey Shane,
I also purchased a Cayenne about 3 months ago that came with the 21' wheels, and Pirelle P Zeros. I live in Denver and the first threat of snow after my purchase led me to buy a set of the DSW's. I ran those for about 3 months in rain and 70 degree heat...oddly enough no snow...However, I will say the Conti's are a much smoother ride and are very quiet as well. The sidewalls are a bit softer than the Pirelli tires which is to be expected since the Pzeros are summer only.
When pushed into cornering, the Conti's give a bit, but it's very predictable, and only really noticeable on rapid directional changes and at higher speeds.
Never thought I'd like those tires, but am impressed.
