Hello everyone! I don't have a Cayenne today, but I am not new to Porsche. I bought my first Porsche: a 914 as a rolling chassis and a box of parts in 1985... followed by several others. I'm in Colorado Springs, nearing retirement, almost an empty nester, and want to jump back into the Porsche world now that the kids won't destroy my toys!
Over the past 30 years I have had several rules when it came to cars that haven't failed me. To meet my needs, a car must meet one or more of the following criteria:
1) Horizontally Opposed
2) Turbo
3) 4WD
4) Uncommon
So... I have a stable of Subarus that meet 2:4 and a 1963 Corvair that meets 3:4, and a future Cayenne may hit three of my targets.
I've been active in the Subaru forums for decades as a contributor and lurker- and hope to have the same experience here.
Looking to jump into a Cayenne in the next year!
