Hi folks. Thank you for the membership. I'm considering purchasing a 2004. Below is a cut and paste from the ad. He's owned it about 2 years. Is not sure if cardian shaft was replaced. Is there a way to check? He's asking 7900 cdn. I'd appreciate overall thoughts. And specifically, if I do my own maintenance and repair, how much more, if at all, would it be to upkeep over let's say, an Acura MDX or a Toyota Highlander/4runner etc.

Ad and other info
2004 Cayenne S, western car w/162K KILOMETERS, 4.5 V8 w 385hp, paddle shifters and a 6800 rpm redline. It sounds, drives and brakes like a race car and was $96K new in 2004. Many new parts - plugs, coils, coolant tank, valve cover gaskets, evap valve. Big 350mm Brembo brakes with drilled rotors and ceramic pads. Rolling on genuine Porsche 20" alloys ($4K) and Nexen 275's. Car is fully loaded including NAV, heated leather, full tint. Car is good to go with fresh synthetic oil and full transmission service. Needs an interior detail. Check around, you wont find a low K Cayenne S for this price. No test pilots

I have some repair history that's recent. The plugs coils valve cover gaskets purge valve coolant tank transmission service etc. It's not high mileage but they are a maintenance vehicle. So I'm very honest with people because I don't need to sell it, it's like any hot rod as it's going to require maintenance
