Drive Shaft

When my carrier bearing went out, I bought a cheap EBay replacement. I think that did more harm than good. So I’m in the market for a new drive shaft. I’ve been looking at one from Detroit Axle, but I thought I’d ask here before diving into the deep end without checking the water depth first.

Personally, the OEM isnt all that expensive, and while you're at it future proof the new one with an EPS bearing.

Drive shaft replacement

I purchased a two piece unit from Vertex auto. Had it on in little over an hour. No need to drop the shaft. Thatís if the bearing rubber surround is bad and bearing is still good. As was my situation.
