2017 Base Cayenne Long brake pedal travel
I have a 2017 base. The distance the brake pedal travels before the brakes engage seems very long. about 1/2 way down. This is much different than the 10mm referenced in the owners manual. The brakes then work fine. Pumping the brakes once before braking has become the norm for a more realistic braking. The dealer and they said the brakes are within spec. But i'm not buying that. When trying to make subtle adjustments to speed it causes over reactions to get the car to react. Maneuvers such as parallel parking and an exercise in how fast you can slam on the brakes for a small adjustment. Driving in traffic always feels like your eventually going to roll into the person in front of you. Definitely will if your the tailgating type. Has anybody experienced this?
