Hello. I have an August build date for the base Cayenne. Iím being told that due to emissions testing for each vehicle once they arrive in the US, it could end up sitting for a month waiting between arriving in the US and being delivered to the dealer.

Two years passed and the problems are still the same. Some shipping companies just can't work without delays. I ordered a shipment twice in my life. The first time it was similar to your situation (it was exactly two years ago, BTW). Then I ordered shipped by another company which provided cheap heavy cargo shipping and they shipped my Cayenne just in time. And the price was different too. In the good sense. I don't know why it was like that. Maybe different shipping companies have different shipping methods. This is a mystery for me.

Well, if you had a bad experience with one shipment company, it doesn't mean that all of the shipping companies are fraud. And this is definitely NOT a reason to resurrect an 2 year old thread, LOL. I had a situation similar to yours. By the way, what is another company you were talking about? My cousin did a shipment not so long ago. He asked his friends for help and one of them have recommended cheap heavy cargo shipping from one company this friend of him had used before. It included auto shipping too. That's that.
