Not that happy
I'm just gonna throw this out there and see if it sticks. I upgraded from a '13 base to a '19 base. The car is very "nice" in general and much more refined than my previous one, however...
I'm losing my love affair with the gen3 cayenne.
First is the sound. I know what you're thinking, I should have gotten and S or Turbo, but still, it should have more growl for $85K. I think my last one may have sounded better.
Second, they have overdone the electronics crap. It took me a year to figure out why my hatch kept opening when I loaded my bike rack. Lots of other small electronic glitches also, like not being able to turn off "start/stop" permanently. The car will actually shut off if you get out while it's in "stop" mode. It forgets who I am sometimes even though I use the same key.
Third, service costs (oil change) kinda crazy. I would be afraid to own this car out of warranty. Again, I know, it's a Porsche, but if you go back to my first gripe, if it ran more like a sports car I wouldn't mind spending like it's a sports car.
