Hi

My Porsche cayenne GTS 2008 developed an engine misfire in May this year. The problem appears to be on number 5 cylinder. It has been in numerous garages. All the usual tests have been done, including diagnostics and compression tests. All plugs and power packs have been changed, and the hydraulic cam lifter has been changed on all cylinders. After all this, the car is still sat useless in the garage.

I would welcome any advise, or help from anyone else who has experienced this problem. I am at my wits end now.

Thanks

Did you get this resolved?
Sorry for a very late response..
Compression, ignition..and fuel. The basics.
I have seen fuel injectors go bad, and fail as they get hot.
Did anyone do a rough running test at idle?.. and check the injector's audible clicking?
