Porsche is doing their part for the environment with all the things they put into the 2011 Cayenne. The 2011 Cayenne gas mileage and fuel consumption is good for the type of SUV it is cause it has things like:

- light weight construction
- 8 speed tiptronic transmission
- Braking energy is transferred to the battery
- Automatic start/stop

hmm.... that start and stop Porsche technology that shuts off the engine when you come to a stop has me thinking. Could that be bad for your engine?

Say if you drive in the city a lot, your engine will start and stop very often. Has this technology been proven to serve it's purpose and yet cause no engine problems?
