2003 Cayenne, non-turbo, 4.5l auto with electrical gremlins. The vehicle is at the dealership with no throttle response and too many error codes to list. Mechanic claims there is corrosion at ECM connector. He suggest that maybe one of the sensors is bleeding fluid through the wires and contaminating the connections. Anyone seen or heard of this? Thanks

Need more details...but on a side note you mechanic is not a mechanic if he's telling you this. Sounds like a second rate tech at best.

Any other vehicular symptoms you can offer would help in problem solving your issue.

1. Do you have a scanner tool or can the garage you visit tell you what codes are coming up on scan?

2. Does your vehicle start normally?

3. Do you have normal power in driving and accelerating?

4. Do your issues change as temperatures in the engine bay increase/decrease?
