What's the procedure for resetting the AdBlue warning light? Where would I find information about this?
I recently purchased our Cayenne and when I drove it home a warning light came on informing me the oil was overfull. We purchased it from a Toyota dealership that new nothing about Porsches and sent me to the Porsche dealer that did the service. The service manager was an ass and told me they wouldn't fix it unless they changed the oil. I guess they didn't want my business so I started to leave then he reconsidered and said they would fix it for free. Then, about half a block from the dealership after getting my Cayenne back the warning light for an opil change came on.
I really like this car, and I might be willing to deal with a little attitude if they weren't such a screw up. The AdBlue light is on, 800 miles to go, and I think I'd like to fill it myself but not if I have to go the the same dealership to reset it. I'm hoping I can find a local Porsche mechanic that I can build a relationship with that I can trust.
If anyone knows of someone in Thousand Oaks/Westlake CA I'd appreciate a referral.
