Check engine light is on. Had it checked and it indicates PO456.

Several reasons not to buy it; first is cuz a cleared code will come right back if the associated issue isn't fixed. Second, it's one of those cheap Chinese knockoffs. Third, it's stated to only work on a 955. So unless you've got a 2004-2006 Cayenne........
But most important, why do you not want to find out the reason that your car is throwing a code? P0456 is just a general evap code, could be something as simple as a loose or leaking fuel cap.

what year is your Cayenne? your probably better off going to the dealership to find out if there is any real problem before turning off or resetting the light.
As Porsche is withholding servicing information from the faithful, like you I came to this forum for support. What I am fast finding is that the folks here are not old school. What does that mean. Well, when something needs attention, if you are old school, you look for answers by the seat of your pants, until you find a good answer that can be shared with the community of folks who enjoy knowing how these beast work. If that means learning a new language, so be it.
