Cayenne 2019 e-Hybrid Charging Door Stuck

Hi .. I have a Cayenne 2019 e-Hybrid which has a stuck EV charging door as my battery died while the car was in storage. Does anyone know if this model has a manual release and where it might be located. I am trying to see if I can start the car in EV mode and drive it to the dealer to replace the battery.

Welcome any suggestions or help

Thanks

I just had the starter battery fail on my Cayenne 2019 e-hybrid a couple of weeks ago while it was driven every day. The dealer said that it was a short in the lithium-ion starter battery under the passenger seat. If you attach a charger to the cable terminals under the hood you can turn the vehicle on, but it will not start. It will also allow you to access the charging port, but it did not affect the error condition. It will show you the error codes thrown off by the defective starter battery. We had to wait about 10 days to get a battery from Germany. We had the car serviced in Newport Beach.
The tow truck driver but a portable charge on the cable terminals under the hood, and I was able to limp-mode the vehicle out of the driveway to the back of the flatbed tow truck.
This happened, curiously, after we had a program upgrade supposedly was going to prevent the eventuality that we would be stuck on the side of the road because of the failure of the starter battery.
The battery was replaced under the four year warranty.

Thank you .. seems I have the same problem
Did the problem occur after this program upgrade?

No .. left the car w/o driving it for a couple of days (EV not plugged in) and when I tried to start it was dead and EV door does not open
It is recommended that you change the battery

Curtis - you're showing signs of being a BOT - this is the 2nd time you made exactly the same response to a thread. It seems the word "battery" triggers this response from you.

I've got my eye on you.. if you don't prove that you're an actual human, with a Porsche you will very shortly become the ex-Curtis-55.
