Hoping to get some advice here. Purchased a 2022 Platinum edition Cayenne. Loving the car, but there has been a squeak in the driver seat (upper right side cushion) since I got it. Dealer looked at it and thought it was a clip that wasn't secured. Got it back and now the squeak is pretty constant and seems to be caused by where the plastic seat back and front assembly attach (no moveable connections but that's where the noise is reproducible). Anyone else encounter this or have a suggestion for a fix? Feel bad complaining about a squeak, but it really is hard to ignore and is getting me very frustrated. Thanks!

I've moved this thread over to the correct subforum in the hopes someone will address it.

If it's a squeak that only happens when the car is moving, I'd suggest having someone else drive the car, then sit in the back seat and try to localize the source of the squeak. It could be as easy as two pieces of plastic rubbing together at a joint, and a bit of silicone lubrication might cure the issue.

BTDT - and I know just how frustrating squeaks and noises that shouldn't be there can be. I'm somewhat of a nut on the issue - I've been known to disassemble an entire interior chasing down a squeak that annoyed me. Luckily age has resolved this to some extent - deafness in this case helps.

Appreciate the feedback! It is testing my sanity but at least others have now commented on it and it seems to be getting worse. Back to the dealer next week. Hopefully that resolves it. Seems to be either a spring in the seat back or where the seat and the plastic backing come together as there’s some give there.
