info and some pic's taken from this linkThe Gemballa Tornado, based on the Porsche Cayenne, was among the many exotic and modified cars at the Top Marques Monaco Show.
One of Gemballa's first tasks before the big show was to put these models on a diet by nipping off as many steel body panels as possible and tucking in stronger and lighter carbon fiber pieces, such as the hood, doors and front fenders. The tuner estimates a 155-pound weight reduction for both the 4,900-pound Cayenne/Tornado. It was fitted with 22-inch forged aluminum rims and Brembo brakes, with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston sets in the rear.

The added stopping power will come in handy when the driver gets over-zealous with the power upgrades to the engines. Gemballa offers two stages of engine modifications from the use of larger turbochargers, a modified intake system, sports exhaust and ECU remapping. Stage one puts out 580 horsepower for the Tornado/Cayenne. Stage two bumps up to 700 horsepower. The Porsche is rated at 500 horsepower from the factory.
For the interior, Gemballa offers customers a choice of a subtle and simple monochromatic theme with black fabric, door panels and carbon fiber or a mix of various materials and colors. The material is used on the seats, door panels, dashboard and steering wheel and is accented with brushed aluminum pieces.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Gemballa, the tuner will only produce 30 units of the Tornado. Last year, the company nearly folded due to an unfortunately series of events that included money troubles and the murder of CEO and founder Uwe Gemballa. Last October we reported that his death was likely caused due to his involvement with South African organized crime groups and participation in an international money-laundering scheme.
Two businessmen bought the troubled-company and hope to continue the brand's growth and recognition.
Not only did Gemballa make the already amazing Porsche Cayenne look better, but they also bumped up the horsepower enough to have a lot of fun. I can't imagine myself getting the stage 1 kit, 80hp extra isn't enough, i need 700hp
Lets see what people on this forum rather have, don't forget to vote on the pole above.....
Stage 1 - 580HP
or
Stage 2 - 700HP
Which Gemballa Power Stage would you choose?
