Hi-

My name is Karen and I'm the proud owner of a new to me 2004 Cayenne S.

I bought it about 3 weeks ago and LOVE it!!!

The only thing that irks me is that the engine symbol keeps coming on after I put gas in it. Yes, I am closing the cap until it clicks.

Also, the radio is shot. The touchscreen is destroyed, so I will be searching this forum for advice on how to replace and upgrade the system as I want XM/Sirius capability and bluetooth for my ipod, if possible.

Hi,

Did the 04 Cayenne S come with touchscreen? It didn’t here in the UK.

I fitted a Dension Gateway 500 to my last two Cayenne S’s One was an 06 the other an 08 Can recommend them - no trouble and some really nice features. You can get Bluetooth with them as well or just plug an iPod in directly.

Thanks for the head's up pn the Dension, I'll have to look that up.

It did come with touchscreen, but no satellite radio option or anything else, really. I'm fine with the direct plug in for ipod if I have to go that route. What I really desire is bluetooth for my phone.
