I work at a used car dealer we have a 2010 cayenne v8 under warranty with a oil leak,
It looked like it might have been the filter "o" ring so we changed the oil 9.5 qts syn. and cleaned oil road tested.
Now trying to make a long story short it looks like the front right corner of the upper pan/crank support gasket so we send it to the dealer, the tech said it was 2 liters over fill we checked it after changing it was not.
Now he says because it was over full it damaged the vacuum pump and seals for the pcv system the will need to be replaced first $1500 before addressing the crank support gasket under warranty.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks Craig

oil leak

I forgot to say that the tech at the dealer says if you don't drain the oil for 45min you will not get all the oil out and that is how it became over full.
