I'm not 100% sure on weather it is standard on all models although I'm pretty sure it is. The entertainment/navigation system on the cayenne is pretty good an easy to use although I do see a few people upgrading their system with an aftermarket headunit.

Hi,
I recently purchased a 2006 Cayenne S with factory navigation, which I find hard and labor intensive to use after using a Garmin for many years in my other cars.
Can anyone suggest a good, reliable aftermarket headunit or navigation system that will work in the Cayenne and fit into the stock opening?

Thanks,

If you have a smartphone, especially an Android, use the stock Google nav system and a windsheld mount. You can enter or search for you destination with just your voice, the maps are always up to date, their's free traffic info, and you can still use it while on the move. I used to have a Garmin system that I loved, but gave it up because the my smartphone is better.

Regarding an aftermarket headunit, most are OK, but personally, I think the ones that use the Garmin software are the easiest to use.
