hello all

I encountered a Porsche Cayenne in Folsom Ca today. As im getting on highway 50 west bound , one of your co - owners ( I'm hoping forum member) decided to race up within a half a car length on my rear. He evidently picked on the wrong Srt8 Magnum. As I had never seen or provoked this driver, I was appalled. I then decided to show him what 600 rwhp (Im supercharged) looked like as I left him 20+ car lengths back. Only after I slowed to exit after one exit, did he even get close. I am hoping he felt foolish since I was just cruising at normal speed minding my own business. I appologize to those not a part if this, but I would think that the owner of such a nice ( and expensive) suv, would drive with more respect. I did get the last word as i exited and allowed him to finally catch up as I exited. I heard him reving at what seemed redline as he kept going.Lol. Im not embellishing the story. It happened just as I stated. I hope he realizes that no matter the price tag, theres always someone lurking in an unsuspecting car ( or station wagon) that may have more horsepower. Lol..Moral of the story is : Even us old folks like horsepower. Its all meant in fun. Thanks!

^ cool story I guess?

There are all kinds of owners of all kinds of cars.

It could have been a Honda Civic pulling up beside you provoking you. And the Civic could likely leave you in the dust with enough money put up beside it.

I don't think people buy the Cayenne to race SRT-8s. They are both respectable cars in their own regime, but they are obviously different cars for different folks.

You are comparing a Jeep on steroids to a standard Porsche SUV.

I don't care how much faster a SRT-8 is than a Cayenne in a straight line, cause it proves just that. If they got 20 people to drive both vehicles and give their review on them i bet the cayenne would win. Cayenne has more than just power but actually feels sporty, has space, CLASS, well thought out design & more.

Porsche takes some serious pride in building their vehicles.
