Hi,
Recently while driving I am getting randomly PSM Fault along with Start Stop function deactivated and Brake Distribution Fault all at once.
When I restart the car the faults are gone. The battery was fully charged last week with ctek charger, in order to eliminate the possibility of low voltage errors…
Today for first time I got the check engine light too along the other 3 faults and the engine started to run rough…
While having the faults I connected the icarsoft scanner and got this:
PSM Controller:
05228D
State: Current
Check DME fault memory content
and
DME Controller:
05220D
State: Current
Engine control unit, fault memory entries present
I was wondering if some wheel speed sensor is failing, so I pulled the live data from all four and they seemed to be working ok…
Sometimes I can feel something mechanical (it’s almost unnoticeable) happening in my right front wheel in the moment the faults show up…
Has anyone dealt with this problem?
Any suggestions which values should I check in the DME controller to clarify the issue?
