I had my 05 Cayenne since new and in a matter of months I will need to get new tires but Im not sure if I should get run-flat tires or regular tires?

I know run-flat tires are good since if a nail just so happens to go in your tire It can be stopped by the material put into the tires. But when I had regular tire, I never had a need for better tires.

What do you guys suggest?

I had run flats on a different vehicle, Jeep SRT-8, and the ride was awful. I thought it was the car, so I replaced with regular tires and it was a night and day difference. Plus about 1/2 the price.

Really? is the ride quality of run flat tires that bad?

So far i'm pleased with the ride quality im getting from these, but if I will get the same result as you by going back to regular tires then I might as well make the change. What exactly were you experiencing with the run flats?
