Driver error accounts for more than three quarters of the 5,474 teenagers who die in car crashes every year. And driver distraction, along with inability to effectively scan the road ahead and driving too fast for conditions, account for half of those errors. Recognizing the dangers, Consumer Reports has joined the cause of helping teens learn to be better drivers.

They Should really make more of these driving courses, for teens as most of them don't know how to drive, and even for people who need to hone in their skills!

Good thing this is being done, teen's aren't really the safe driving focused crowd. Some are good driver, others are just careless and do really stupid things on the road, it makes you wonder. Not only should teens do this, but everyone, just imagine all the bad situations we can prevent and the lower insurance rates.
